Fall Festival Is Right Around the Corner!

Planning for Valley View's signature autumn event is in full swing! Mark your calendars for Friday, October 28, 2:30-6:30p, and email the Fall Festival committee if you can help with planning, logistics, decorations, games and booths, silent auction, food--or anything else you can think of!

This year, the fundraising goal is $19,000, ALL of which will be earmarked for our Physical Education program. Your support is more important than ever!

About Us

Founded in 1917, Valley View is a public elementary school, Kindergarten through fifth grade, nestled in the Hollywood Hills. Our surrounding neighborhood consists of the Outpost Estates, Cahuenga Pass, the Hollywood Dell and Hollywood Knolls.  Valley View draws students from within the neighborhood school boundaries and from all across the city. Our population of approximately 250 students is both multicultural and ethnically diverse, and our current API score of 822 ranks us well above the state and national average.

Our Mission

The teachers, parents, students and community members of Valley View Elementary exemplify a focused dedication to creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and caring, where all students are encouraged to express themselves creatively and thrive to reach their individual potential in an ever-changing society. We strive to create a well-ordered learning environment built on a challenging and stimulating course of study for all learners, interweaving the arts and technology into the curriculum.
